for Cee’s Which Way Photo and Odd Ball Challenges (cuz, I couldn’t decide where to place it 😉).
Last week I posted about my trip to the Highline, which runs over through Chelsea and over some well know art galleries.
After stepping back down to terra firma, and while wandering the galleries, we happened past this building and its most unusual sign.
The sign, for the London Brighton Southcoast Railways. According to Wiki, this railway, which ran a triangular route within the United Kingdom (London-Sussex-Surrey) ceased to exist in 1922.
I thought it clever that this gorgeous sign (1) has been relocated thousands of miles from its home, and (2) now sits near an abandoned railway-cum-tourist attraction.
I love your post this week. Especially the tracks to nowhere 😀
